Dustin the Turkey has revealed he wants another chance at representing Ireland at the Eurovision Song Concert.
Former Hometown star Brendan Murphy represented Ireland in Kiev this month, but failed to qualify for the live finals of the competition.
After the poor result, former Eurovision contestant Dustin is insisting that he wants to be given another chance at being Ireland’s entry for the song contest next year,
“Your man Brendan was like Daniel O’Donnell junior this year,” Dustin told The Herald.
“We’ve literally tried everything, from a turkey in a shopping trolley to even my ex Niamh Kavanagh. I’d love to do it again and I now know the formula to winning it.”
Dustin himself failed to qualify for the finals in Belgrade, Serbia, with his song Ireland Douze Points, but we would love to see Dustin get another chance at the title!
