A new species has arrived at Dublin Zoo!
After teasing their new arrivals on Instagram this week the Zoo finally announced they now have five dholes that people can visit.
Their Instagram caption explained, “Dholes are medium-sized canine predators with rounded ears, a slender body with red-brown fur and a black tail. The five male dholes came to Dublin Zoo a number of days ago and are settling into their new habitat very well.”
The dholes will be located at the Asian Forests, close to the Asian lion habitat this weekend.
Zoo lovers were delighted to see the new animals and shared their love in the comments with one writing, “So beautiful” and another saying, “They are super cute!”
Pop in to Dublin Zoo if you’d like to see the dholes in person!
