We turn to Dr Clodagh Campbell for almost everything.

We get to spend the day with her as she’s following her joy during her first major photoshoot and the success of her book, The Steps.

She is joyous and we’re trying to bottle it. But she tells us that she hasn’t always been able to keep a smile on her face.

Speaking to VIP Magazine in the March issue, she tells us: “Towards the end of 2023 I found myself really burnt out. I was working hard, trying to prove my self-worth, to myself, mostly. I was really pushing myself to earn as much money as I could, I was pushing myself to make a name for myself, to get more Instagram followers, I never really had a goal, I just wanted more.

“I was really disconnected from myself, from the girls, from Paul, and that was creating disharmony, and Paul was cross with me. I really had to take a good look at myself and realise what values were important to me, and I realised that connection was really important.”

She went on to say: “The other thing that was important was peace of mind. Peace of mind is so precious to me because for most of my life, I didn’t have it. And now that I do have it, I know its value. And to keep it I need to create space for myself because I know if I don’t, I will feel overwhelmed. So, I make space for myself, I mind myself.”

She adds: “I didn’t always take care of myself. I very much went into that place of, ‘I’m a bad person, I’m not good enough’. I have in the past been very critical and compared myself to others.”
