Donal Skehan and his wife Sofie are set to star in a new cookery show together in America.
The duo have been back and forth to US for the past year, but are now ready to settle down there, in the hopes of catapulting their career.
“After several months living out of a suitcase we’re moving into a new place in LA in January so we’re really excited about that,” said Donal.
The pair recently recorded a pilot for the Food Network in America, which sees the pair staring together in their first cookery programme.
“Sofie was great. She has been behind the camera for so long watching me do this and watching me learn, when it came to her turn she knew exactly what she was doing.
“We’ll see what happens after it airs as they’ll make a decision then so you just have to keep your head down and keep working,” he told the Irish Sun.
Donal continued, “A lot of what we do is based on food and lifestyle, and we’ve been amazed in the interest in us, especially since we got married.
“I suppose it’s all part and parcel of what we are.”
The show is set to air Stateside this January.
