The TV chef has a very busy lifestyle along with being a father of two, so it’s easy to imagine that life could get a bit overwhelming at times.
In an interview with The Independent Donal spoke candidly about times when he felt “down” and needed a little extra help;
“It comes in different guises — sometimes it can be burnout triggering a bit of depression… I just call them ‘down moments’.

“I’ve spoken to a therapist and there have been times when I’ve wondered if medication would have made me feel a little bit lighter, but for me therapy was enough.”
Donal is a father of two, sharing two sons with his wife Sofie, he told the publication that he has learned to prioritise family amid a busy schedule.
“I was trying to juggle all these career things when the biggest and most important thing in my life was literally screaming in my face,” he said.

The family are moving into a new home this week after the house they were in for the summer as it has been sold.
Speaking on his stories he said, “We have not been in a house for longer than ten months at a time since we’ve moved home to Ireland [from LA]. Well, this week we are on the move again.”
Speaking about the new house Donal said, “The new house is a new build and it’s all modern which is a welcome change after the last two houses being old school.”

He told followers it is all happening at a very busy time, but he’s excited for the new chapter;
“Another new little chapter and of course it’s happening as my new book is being released and the new television show is happening, so , yeah we like to go all in in this family.”
Best of luck with everything Donal!
