Dominique Nugent has shared that her Christmas has just become more special.
She has been open about her journey to become parents with her husband, Paddy.
Earlier this year, she shared that they had begun their IVF journey.
Now Dominique and Paddy have shared the good news that they are expecting!

Dominique wrote on social media: “After years of heartbreak, loss and longing, I can’t quite believe I get to write these words and share this news. It’s finally our turn.
“IVF has given us our little Christmas wish and, all going well, our rainbow baby will be coming this summer.”
She went on to say: “These clips hold so many emotions for me. Excitement, hope, the month-after-month disappointment, and the kind of love that keeps you trying again when you don’t know how you’ll get back up after a loss.
“I’m still nervous, because I’ve been at this stage before. But today I’m letting myself breathe and share this tiny piece of hope with you all.”
Dominique continued: “To anyone going through loss, or still longing to hold a baby, especially at Christmas, I’m holding space for you. I know how heavy this time can feel when your heart is still waiting. Here’s to hope, to science and to finally saying the words I’ve waited so long to say.”
