Congratulations are in order for Doireann Garrihy and Mark Mehigan.
The couple has welcomed their first child.
Doireann shared a picture of her in hospital cradling her newborn with Mark smiling behind them.
“Our baby, Rosie. A love like this we’ve never known,” she captioned the sweet snap.

The couple were immediately met with the sweetest messages from their pals.
Doireann’s former 2FM co-host Carl Mullan wrote: “Welcome to the world Rosie. Massive congrats to you both. Go on Mam ya superstar.”
Her Dancing with the Stars co-star Arthur Gourounlian commented: “OMG, this is absolutely stunning. Hello Rosie, welcome to the world. I can’t wait to meet you.”
Her big sister Ailbhe gushed: “The most perfect baby girl, we love you so much Rosie.”
“Awwww huge congrats to you both,” Louise Cooney said, while James Patrice enthused: “Beautiful Baby Rosie. Congrats Dolls.”

The couple announced that they were expecting their first child in April with a picture of Mark cradling Doireann’s growing bump.
“We are beside ourselves with joy. Here’s to the greatest chapter yet,” Doireann wrote at the time.
And now that baby Rosie is in the world, their fabulous adventure is just beginning!
