Doireann Garrihy announced her engagement at the end of November.
And she has now revealed that she is in the midst of wedding planning and she couldn’t be more excited.
Doireann is excited to walk down the aisle to marry her partner, Mark Mehigan.
The couple have been together since 2022, confirming their romance at the start of 2023.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Doireann shared an update on wedding planning.
“Wedding talk,” she began.
“We’re making progress with plans. We actually have been making progress with plans for a little while now — just haven’t shared anything. But it’s very exciting, and I can’t believe I’m going to be a bride. What? I actually can’t believe it.”
Doireann then went on to ask her followers if they would be interested in her talking more about her wedding plans. She also asked for advice from her brides as she prepares to walk down the aisle.

The 2FM host previously shared details about her engagement, telling the Sunday Times that he popped the question in the Phoenix Park.
“It’s right beside my family home in Castleknock, it’s where I learned to cycle and it was my sanctuary during lockdown. It holds a special place in my heart,” she said.
While big sister Aoibhín also gushed about their relationship.
“Doireann was very definite from the get-go that Mark was the man for her,” she told Woman’s Way.
“We were all like, ‘Okay, whatever you say’, but she was like, ‘No, I’m telling you, we’re going to be married in the not-too-distant future’.”
“True to her world, they got engaged.”
However, it looks like the proposal was still a surprise to Doireann as Aoibhín added: “The actual proposal totally caught Doireann off-guard, as she was on the way back from work with no makeup on. It was a dismal day and she and Mark were in the Phoenix Park, and down he went on one knee.”
