Does your WFH wardrobe need an update? Here’s 5 Irish brands we’re loving right now

We’re at the point now in our new WFH lifestyle, that we’ve genuinely forgotten what wearing jeans feels like. Rather than despair, we’re fully embracing it, especially with the weather as miserable as it has been.

As we approach a year since we stopped commuting to the office though, some of our WFH attire may be starting to look a little sad and lacklustre. Perhaps a couple of new cosy sweatshirts to slip into could be exactly what we need to brighten up our week!

There are so many fantastic Irish brands to support out there, many of them popping up since lockdown started, so as well as treating yourself to something new, you’ll also be supporting local which is always a good thing.

4TH ARQ

Now heading towards dropping their third collection in April, 4TH ARQ can’t keep their stock on site with it selling out in minutes. With Rosie Connolly behind the wheel we shouldn’t be surprised!

These collections of sweatshirts, bombers, trackies and hoodies will take you from WFH to way out of lockdown too, looking chic layered underneath an oversized jacket or paired with jeans (once we’re brave enough to wear them again).

All Time Great Days

If you really want the feel-good factor in your comfy purchase why not look at new Irish venture, All Time Great Days. As well as being sustainable, the idea behind the company is all about giving back as after making your purchase you can then nominate someone for an ‘all time great day’.

The brand will then select someone, who needs it most, to send a cash donation too. A lovely concept, that is really needed given how grim things are at the moment.

BAILE

Another sustainable brand, BAILE was started by an Irish couple living in London. They have since decided to make the move back to Ireland after the success of their collections!

Their range includes organic cotton t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies and hats. Everything you could need for staying cosy at your laptop or heading out for your daily walk!

Lucy Nagle

Lucy Nagle’s cashmere pieces are the height of luxury if you want something super cosy to snuggle up in. But cashmere doesn’t have to mean a classic jumper or roll neck.

Instead, Lucy’s most recent collections have been more relaxed with pieces including joggers and cashmere hoodies. They’re an investment but something you’ll wear long after lockdown ends.

Gym + Coffee

If nipping out for a coffee and a walk is the highlight of your day then you need to make sure you’re dressed and ready to go at a moments notice…that weather is changeable to say the least.

Irish brand, Gym + Coffee have a huge selection of cosy hoodies ideal for staying in, or heading out!
