Last week, The Late Late Show pulled in an impressive 707,000 viewers, thanks to a popular country music special featuring Nathan Carter and Daniel O’Donnell.
The show also featured interviews from Brooklyn star Saoirse Ronan and Ireland rugby coach Joe Schmidt, and trounced the Ray D’Arcy Show in the weekend ratings, attracting double the audience Friday night.
This week, the line-up has been revealed as quite a random mix, and it’ll be interesting to see if as many people tune in.
Chatting to Tubs about all things Donegal will be legendary All-Ireland winning manager Jim McGuinness, while popular Harry Potter actress Miriam Margolyes will discuss life on and off the big screen.
Broadcaster Mary Kennedy will be chatting about turning 60 and what changes have taken place in her life, while former government minister and broadcaster Ivan Yates will be making an appearance to give his views on the state of Ireland and what he thinks will happen as we approach the next general election.
Meanwhile, Angela Scanlon will be dropping by to talk about her new documentary series, and we wonder if she’ll say anything about THAT controversial review.
Comedian Maeve Higgins will be bringing some humour to the show, opening up about what life is like in NYC, and music will be provided by Richard Hawley, CC Brez and Jerry Fish.
