Diana Bunici has opened up about her rocker beau of two years, Kodaline star Steve Garrigan.
The pair met through friends a couple of years ago, and have been inseparable ever since.
Diana opened up exclusively to VIP about her beau, saying, “What drew me to him was that he’s such a lovely, funny, humble, gentle soul. We just get on. We’re best friends.”
Despite both being so busy – what with Diana having just published her debut book, The Pursuit of Awesome, and Steve working hard with his band – the pair make it work. In fact, he even helped her when it came to writing her new book, and he was featured in it.
“We were in my apartment in London, chilling on my bed,” she said.
“He was really sick and had to fly to America the next day. We’d been planning to do the interview together – we always leave everything until the last minute when we’re together – and because he was feeling quite unwell, he was hoping to do it later.
“I was like, ‘Babe, we need to do this interview, I’ve a deadline and you’re going on tour for six weeks.’
“We ended up doing it, and the next day he flew to America and ended up in a hotel room, on a drip, with pneumonia. That’s how dedicated he was to the cause!”
Now if that’s not love, we don’t know what is!
Speaking of, Diana revealed to VIP that while they celebrate Valentine’s together and last year enjoyed a romantic trip away to Glasgow, Steve keeps the romantic gestures up throughout the year.
“He’s very sweet and it doesn’t have to be Valentine’s Day for him to reach out and do something nice.
“The odd time, I’ll get a bunch of flowers, and I’ll be like, ‘What’s that for?’ and he’ll be like, ‘Just cause.’”
