Lisa McGee’s new crime thriller ‘The Deceived’ has started filming in Belfast this week.
The creator of hit comedy Derry Girls has joined forces with Tobias Beer to write the exciting new series, which is set to air on Virgin Media One and Channel 5 in 2020.
The story centres around central character Ophelia, who falls in love with her college lecturer Dr Michael Callaghan, played by Irish actor Emmet J Scanlan (Peaky Blinders).
Other starts such as Derry Girls and Game Of Thrones’ Ian McElhinney make up the rest of the cast, in what is sure to be an enthralling watch!
