There wasn’t a dry eye in the room during the final episode of Derry Girls.
The beloved comedy series came to an end in 2022 after three incredible seasons.
The final special episode aired focusing on the Good Friday Agreement, which celebrates 25 years this year.
This specific episode has been nominated for a BAFTA award. The scene heads up a shortlist of six nominees for the Memorable Moment Award.

The episode is set a year after the goings-on of season three and follows the girls as they prepare to vote for the first time in a historical vote that changed the course of history.
The other scenes that are nominated are Nick and Charlie’s first kiss in Netflix series, Heartstopper, when Paddington stopped by Buckingham Palace for the Queen’s jubilee celebrations and the moment Max was saved using Kate Bush in Stranger Things.
Other moments include the final round table from The Traitors and Sir Mo Farah explaining that he was illegally trafficked into the UK under the name of another child.
