It looks as though Room to Improve is on it’s way back to our screens! This week architect, and host of the show, Dermot Bannon shared a behind the scenes snap from the TV series.
Posting a photo of a gorgeous open plan living/dining area he said; #sneakpeek first #roomtoimprove finished!!!! Nearly back after two long years!”
Although a date for the fourteenth series of the show has yet to be revealed, a follower asked down in the comments when he was back on our TV screens. Responding Dermot simply said; “soon.”
Last year filming for the show was was forced to come to a halt amid the pandemic and fans of the show have been waiting patiently for news of it’s return.
Speaking with RSVP Magazine earlier this year about filming amidst the pandemic Dermot shared that they ensured full social distancing guidelines have been adhered to, as difficult as it was.
“I was making TV shows and doing a lot of normal things so I had a letter to get out of my county and stay in hotels. I had to get a PCR test every two days, and I had more things shoved up my nose than Nidge from Love/Hate!”
“Wearing masks and filming socially distanced were really difficult because they went against the nature and spirit of what we do.”
Hopefully we’ll have a confirmed date of when the show is back on our screens very soon.
