While Ireland has now become the hot spot for Hollywood celebrities to spend their summers, there were a few stars who were ahead of the curve.

Sarah Jessica Parker’s love affair with Donegal being one.

Of course, David and Victoria Beckham’s iconic wedding at Luttrellstown Castle Resort in 1999.

The couple is celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary on July 4th.

As such they decided to take a trip down memory lane.

Including to those iconic purple outfits they wore on their big day. Look, it was the nineties!

They famously wore the matching outfits for the latter part of their wedding day and were pictured sitting on massive thrones.

The couple pulled out the outfits and rewore them to mark their wedding anniversary – as well as posing in the thrones again!

“Look what we found…” they wrote as they shared a snap of them in their outfits.

Victoria shared more snaps of them together as they marked their wedding anniversary, with the caption: “Yep, still got it! Can’t believe it’s been 25 years and they still fit!

“We love you so much @BrooklynPeltzBeckham @RomeoBeckham @CruzBeckham #HarperSeven xxxx.”

It wasn’t just the lovebirds who wore the purple outfits, their eldest son who was just a baby at the time wore a tiny matching suit with a purple cowboy hat.

We wonder will Brooklyn pull out this ‘fit to celebrate his parents’ anniversary? Watch this space.

Victoria wore a beautiful Vera Wang dress for the actual ceremony as well as a diamond crucifix that David had bought her for Christmas and a diamond and gold tiara by Irish designer Slim Barrett.

Well happy wedding anniversary, David and Victoria.
