There is a major plot twist on its way for DWTS this week.
During the show, the couple with the highest scores will be granted immunity from the first dance off and a free pass into week 8!
What a prize, the show’s official Instagram page shared the news on their stories, getting viewers even more excited for this weekend’s show.
Lottie Ryan will be revealing more about what we can expect from the twist on her DWTS podcast!
As if this week wasn’t jam packed enough, we have already learned at the weekend that the next instalment of series five will be ‘Dedicated Dance’ week.
Viewers will see the celebrities dancing once again but the difference is that there will be no elimination. Instead it will be an extra special episode as each celebrity couple will be dedicating their performance to an important figure in their lives.
Missy Keating will unfortunately be missing from this lineup due to Covid-19. The model took to Instagram to share her disappointment that she is missing Dedicated Dance week writing;
“Absolutely devastated to announce that due to Covid, I won’t be performing on Dancing with the Stars this Sunday
“Dedicated Dance Night was something I really wanted to be part of. My dance was going to be in honour of my beautiful grandmother, Marie Keating, who I never got to meet.
“Those who know her cancer story, know she was taken from our family at an extremely young age, and this was my moment to be with her and dance for her. I’m heartbroken with the circumstances.”
However, as devastating as it is for Missy to miss out on what would have been a special week for her, she’s looking forward to returning to the dance floor again once she makes a full recovery.
“Please God I will be back on that dance floor next week. I turn 21 next Friday so Ervinas and I have a super fun performance planned to celebrate it”
Get well soon Missy!
