Friends star Courteney Cox has been living in Malibu while her boyfriend was stuck in the UK during lockdown.

The two did long distance during the pandemic and Cox admitted it was “definitely hard”.

Speaking on Sirius XM’s The Howard Stern Show Courteney said, “People from the U.K., they still can’t come to America. You’re not allowed in still, which is crazy. He’s been vaccinated and he can’t come in. I don’t understand it…People can go from Florida to Los Angeles, no quarantine. I don’t get it. I don’t know why they can’t come to America and quarantine the way I did”.

The actress was calling into the show from quarantine in London, “I’ve been on this five-day test and release. I’m going out tonight, can’t wait. I don’t mean out, just to a restaurant…I just want to go out – literally, out of the apartment. I have not left [Johnny’s apartment] except to get a nose swab at Heathrow [Airport],” she said.

A friend of the couple Ed Sheeran has recently revealed that Johnny is the Godfather to his daughter and that he introduced the couple nine years ago.

“I introduced [Courteney] to my best mate Johnny, who I wrote Shape Of You and Bad Habits with…He’s also godfather to Lyra, but yeah, I introduced them like nine years ago.

“She just invited me round her house and I just kept going round and then one day I brought Johnny and he didn’t come home,” he said.

We are happy to hear the couple can finally spend some time together, being away from loved ones is always hard.
