The Friends star wished her Irish boyfriend a happy birthday in a cute Instagram post.
The first picture in the post shows the two on the set of Friends on Monica’s couch and we’ve already got feels, Courteney captioned the picture, “Happy Birthday to my best friend and love. He’s the kindest, most patient, best listener, curious, caring, not to mention talented and gorgeous partner. I love you jmd x”.
The pair met through mutual friend Ed Sheeran in 2013 and have been going strong ever since.
Speaking about the match-making experience on The Hits Radio Breakfast Show with Fleur East Sheeran said, “I introduced [Courteney] to my best mate Johnny, who I wrote Shape Of You and Bad Habits with…He’s also godfather to Lyra, but yeah, I introduced them like nine years ago.
“She just invited me round her house and I just kept going round and then one day I brought Johnny and he didn’t come home.”
Johnny is also the godfather to Ed’s daughter Lyra.
The three remain besties to this day with Courteney recently congratulating the guys in their successful song Permission To Dance which they co-wrote for BTS saying, “Look at these two… They did it again! Congratulations @teddysphotos and my ♥️ Johnny McDaid”.
