Last year, 2FM experienced massive shakeups after several well-known names left the station.
It led to dozens of shakeups and rejigs in the schedule.
Now it looks like RTÉ Radio 1 will also experience a similar shakeup this year.
Joe Duffy left the station last month after 27 years and the hunt is on for his replacement.

Several names have been bandied about but now it looks like a big shakeup could happen.
Dermot Whelan has stepped into the station to cover Oliver Callan who is currently on holidays.
Dermot, of course, hosted The Dermot and Dave Show on Today FM since 2014. However, in 2023 he announced he was departing the station and radio.
According to The Irish Mail on Sunday he has seriously impressed the bosses in Radio 1…so much so they want to give him a full time role.

“The reality is there’s a new sheriff in town,” a source told the publication.
“Are some people worried? Probably. Nobody’s slot is safe, except perhaps for Oliver Callan. They adore Oliver.”
The move is said to cause a “seismic shift” within the company.
