Dancing with the Stars marked 100 episodes over the weekend, and they did so with a bang.
To mark the milestone, Nicky Byrne returned to the ballroom, this time as a guest judge. Host, Doireann Garrihy, who is currently on maternity leave was also spotted in the audience.
Former contestants also filled the seats, as well as mentoring, the current couples dancing for their lives every weekend.
Elaine Crowley, Mary Kennedy, Eileen Dunne, Aoibhín Garrihy and Marty Morrissey were all in the ballroom for the night that was in it. So it got us thinking about bringing these stars back for a bigger role…perhaps an All-Star season!

VIP Magazine caught up with Dancing With The Stars boss Larry Bass to find out if this could be a possibility.
While he confirmed the show will be returning in 2027 for another 11-episode series, he admitted an All-Star season is harder to pull together than it would seem.
“I’m after being accosted by about 12 of them at least, saying, ‘All-Stars’! “Jordan Conroy keeps grabbing me saying, ‘When are we going to do the All-Stars?’,” he told us.
“So they would love to do it, but we’re not there yet. I think that’s something that, if we were doing things like Christmas specials, it would come into play, and you go back and bring your old favourites back.

“It’s a difficult one for us. Unlike the BBC, whose series goes nicely into Christmas, they can shoot a show in their duration. Our show obviously starts in January and finishes in March, so shooting a show while the set is in place doesn’t really work in that same way.
“Doing a special like that, we’d have to find a different reason. But I think I’d never say never on anything, I’m too long around to say we won’t do it.”
Well, watch this space!
Dancing with the Stars continues Sunday, 6:30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
