We can always rely on First Dates to keep us entertained here in VIP Towers and last night’s episode did not disappoint!
Yes, eight more singletons took to the First Dates restaurant in the most recent episode looking for love, but it was one couple in particular that left viewers in stitches.
Cork natives Lorraine and Eoin sat down for dinner and immediately hit it off as they laughed away on their date.
Firstly, Eoin spat out his drink in laughter as Lorraine told him a horror story of someone “flirting” with her over text, asking: “Do you f***ing flick the bean.”

Then as Lorraine chatted away, Eoin jokingly interrupted: “Do you ever get tired? Jesus Christ. The amount of talking you do.”
“Well isn’t it f***ing better to be talking than not talking? I couldn’t stick someone sitting here saying nothing. Would you prefer that?” she hastily replied.
“No, no you’re grand,” Eoin jumped back in, to which she added: “So obviously you don’t like me talking.”
Trying to redeem himself, Eoin asked: “Who said that now?”
Although the two could not stop laughing on their date it seems as though they got on almost too well with them both agreeing to be too similar for a romantic connection.
“It’s very hard to see on a first date, and when you’re so similar,” said Eoin.
“So similar,” repeated Lorraine. “It’s weird.”
