It’s the end of an era as our favourite Islanders return to London, after a summer in the sun.
Following the finale on Monday night, which saw Limerick man Greg O’Shea be crowned champion with Amber Gill, the couples are making their way back home.
Alongside Amber and Greg, Maura and Curtis, Ovie and India and Tommy and Molly-Mae have packed their bags and said goodbye to the villa, one last time.
Sharing their excitement and delight, the group shared adorable videos and pics as they waited to embark their flight home.
“Just getting on the plane now, on the way home” beamed winner, Greg O’Shea.
Cuddling Amber, he continued, “Finally she’s getting home after nine weeks away.”
Fellow Irish Islander, Maura Higgins, who came in fourth place with pro-dancer Curtis Pritchard, thanked fans for all their kind words over the last few weeks.
“Absolutely shocked and overwhelmed with all the support for me and Curtis,” she said.
“Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. We love you all. London, we’re on the way.”
