Colette Fitzpatrick has announced that she’s leaving Newstalk. The broadcaster currently presents Newstalk Breakfast with Paul Williams, Alan Quinlan and Shane Coleman.
Just yesterday it was discovered that the mum-of-two was axed from her position as co-host on Pat Kenny Tonight, and now her new career move has been revealed.
After just months in her new role at the radio station, Colette will now be taking over as Senior Anchor on TV3’s 12:30pm and 5:30pm news bulletins, Monday to Friday. The change is part of TV3’s new three station strategy, and news revamp.
“I have loved working in Newstalk for the past 18 months and making the decision to leave this station was very difficult.
“I would like to thank Shane, Paul, Alan, Vincent and the entire team for their support and I wish the show the very best in the future,” she said.
She’ll be missed on the airwaves.
