Clodagh McKenna is a busy woman.
We sit down with her for VIP Magazine during her book tour when she jets into Ireland.
Not only has she nine cookbooks under her belt, she is also a food columnist for The Sunday Times Magazine, the much-loved resident chef on ITV’s This Morning show, she has her own lifestyle brand, Honey by Clodagh, oh and half a million followers on Instagram.
But she promises us that she is not a workaholic!

“When we’re back in our home-life, at five o’clock, we stop work. My office is in Broadspear, in one of the outhouses we converted, and even if I’m in there with the girls working, Harry will pop in and be like, ‘I’ll give you half an hour more and that’s it’,” she shares.
“Then we take the dogs out for a big walk, we sit down and have dinner and then I have a bath, usually, and it’s off to bed. Harry really does help me switch off; he set that in stone when we started living together seven years ago. We also don’t really work on weekends – unless I have to.
“My life is busy, I get up early in the morning, I start work about eight o’clock – aside from the day I do This Morning and then I’m up really early at five.”
