When it comes to fashion, the past year has seen us move far away from glamour and into the word of comfort and practicality. As much as we’d love to get dressed up for a night on the town, we have to admit we are enjoying the relaxed nature of getting dressed in the morning.
These days all we’re doing is the food shop and a daily walk around the block, but that doesn’t mean we can’t look our best. Many of our favourite fashion influencers have been embracing this and investing in practical pieces we’ll have long after lockdown is over.
We caught up with influencer Clémentine MacNeice to find out what her top three fashion buys have been during lockdown.
Hunter original play boot wellies
I’ve had a pair of high Hunter wellies for years and absolutely love them. A shorter pair were the perfect lockdown investment and are great for all our forest walks!
Extremely comfy as well!
A Short Puffa
I think everyone is investing in a puffa coat this lockdown and they’re all over the high street in all lengths, styles and colours!
I snapped up a shiny, navy Massimoduti one in the January sale have been living in it since.
Now more than ever I am reaching for my leggings (and not just to work out) The Power leggings from Sweaty Betty are an amazing investment. I love them in black as they go with everything, but if you like a splash of colour they come in a variety of prints and colours.
At the weekend I pop on a nice long coat and runners and I’m good to go!
