Irish actor Cillian Murphy has some kind words to say about Harry Styles’ acting ability, following their work together in upcoming World War Two flick, Dunkirk.
Although The Peaky Blinders star admitted that he only stars with the One Direction member in a few scenes, he knows that Harry has acting talent.
He told Radio Times Magazine that he trusts Christopher Nolan, the film’s director, with casting and knows that he wouldn’t hire Harry if he wasn’t capable.
“Harry Styles is great. I had very few scenes with Harry but we got to hang out and I’ve got to say he’s a great, great kid, and really, really funny.
“Above all, Chris knows talent and would have cast Harry for a reason.
“There’s a long history of musicians moving over into acting and I come from that world myself, so I’m sure he’ll be terrific in the role. I trust Chris implicitly in that,” he said.
Dunkirk also stars Hollywood heart-throb Tom Hardy, and former Love/Hate actor Barry Keoghan.
We can’t wait to see the film, but unfortunately it isn’t set to be released until next summer, so we have another while to wait.
