We were all very excited when we heard about 28 Years Later, the threequel to 28 Days Later.
Of course, Cillian Murphy led the 2002 cult classic that followed a man plunged into a world where a zombie apocalypse has just happened.
The Rage Virus had broken out across the UK and Cillian’s character, Jim, was forced to get to safety almost entirely alone from the centre of London.
Now a third film in the series is set to come out fans have been eager to find out if we ever find out what happened to Jim.
The new movie stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Comer and Ralph Fiennes and takes place 28 years after the virus originally broke out.
Despite Cillian previously hinting at returning to the series, he has not been officially listed in the cast, however, his name appears as executive producer.
But, in a new trailer for the film, fans are convinced we have a glimpse at what became of Cillian’s character.
In one scary scene, decaying zombies can be seen and one of them looks very similar to Cillian.
Could our original hero have succumbed to the virus?

However, another fan pointed out shots have reportedly surfaced of Cillian on set, looking very un-zombified!
