Christmas luncheon aims to raise funds for Gaza

Devastation continues in Gaza, despite promises of a ceasefire.

There is still just a small amount of aid being allowed into the area of Palestine, despite reports of famine as well as dire medical attention being needed.

The Palestinian people have been calling for help from the rest of the world. And you can make a small difference by donating towards the cause.

Over the summer, a group of Irish women held an online fundraiser to raise €12,000 for Wings for Hope, a holistic medical team that provides prosthetic limbs and rehabilitation for Palestinians who’ve lost limbs and been evacuated due to their injuries.

That support was able to change lives; three people have now received prosthetic limbs and will continue to be cared for by surgeons, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and mental health professionals.

The number of child amputees is now the highest ever recorded in history; however, many families are unable to get the help they desperately need.

To continue this work, the Irish group are hosting a sold-out Christmas Luncheon Fundraiser on November 27th at Old Street, Malahide. The goal is to raise both funds and awareness, helping to give more people the gift of movement and hope for the future.
