Christmas FM is officially back on the air, as of 1pm this afternoon. The much loved festive station will be broadcast from The Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin until Christmas Day.
The radio station was granted another temporary license this year from the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, in order to raise some much needed funds for a deserving charity.
In the past Christmas FM has raised close to €1 million euro for a number of Irish charities such as Age Action, the ISPCC, and The Simon Community, but this year listeners will be donating to homeless charity, Focus Ireland.
Festive songs and carols can be heard on the airwaves in Dublin, Galway, Cork, and Limerick. However, frequencies can also be picked up in parts of Kildare, Meath, Longford, Cavan, Wicklow, Waterford, Kilkenny and Tipperary, and online.
Shows will air from 7am to 2am, seven days a week. You can check out the frequency numbers on ChristmasFM.com.
