Christina Hendricks really is an honourary Irishwoman at this point.
Earlier this year, it was confirmed that she would be starring in a new show based here in Ireland that is written by Chris O’Dowd.
Of course, that means that Christina is spending plenty of time on our shores.
And she is certainly taking the opportunity to take in all the sites.

Including staying at the celeb favourite Ashford Castle!
She had a ball in the award-winning Mayo spot, which saw her get up close and personal with some feathered friends.
The Mad Men star posted several snaps of her on the grounds of the castle with a falcon perching on her arm. She then shared a video of the bird swooping down to land on her wrist.
She looked like a very cool customer as the bird glided down, we can’t say that we would be the same!
Another snap saw her pose with a large owl on her arm. Clearly, she loves her birds!
She then decided to relax by the pool and fear not as she wasn’t too far away from an animal, as her dog joined her on the loungers.
“You didn’t think I was done with castle content did you? @ashfordcastle,” she captioned the pictures that also saw her take in nature around the hotel.
Her trip didn’t end there as she headed for a “staycation” in Dublin as well!

She stayed in the Merrion Hotel and headed to the Libary of Trinity College – is it really a trip to Dublin without a visit?
“What a delightful and much needed staycation in Dublin at the @merrionhotel romantic and cozy,” she captioned the pictures.
