Chris O’Dowd and his wife Dawn O’Porter have made the decision to move to London after over a decade in the States.
The couple had lived with their two children, Art and Valentine, in Los Angeles for over 10 years.
But they have now left Twinkle Town to settle in the capital of England.
The Roscommon man has now opened up about the decision to relocate across the globe.

“Obviously, I’m back at home all the time, and that was one of the reasons we moved from the States to the UK last summer and decided to come back to London, essentially,” he told the Irish Independent.
He admitted that there wasn’t one big factor one why they left instead it was a “bunch of different reasons”.
“Some of them are just normal middle-aged reasons – our parents are getting old, our kids are kind of starting secondary school and we always knew we would come back anyway, all that kind of craic.
“And then America for the last few years – it’s been wild.”

He admitted that the American presidential election is on the horizon made them realise it was time to leave.
“Every election cycle is just an absolute maelstrom of madness, so I wouldn’t say that it was a huge factor in it, but it definitely was a factor in the timing of it,” he confessed.
“There’s no harm in missing an election cycle, but more than anything, we just miss being in Ireland and being here in London, and I think that’s probably why.”
So if you see Chris bopping around his native Roscommon you know why!
