Hollywood actress Chloe Grace Moretz has praised Irish director Neil Jordan for helping her overcome anxiety on set.
The star was in Dublin in 2017 to film The Widows, and worked with Jordan on thriller Greta, which was just released in Ireland.
Chloe has now spoken about dealing with claustrophobia on set, and how her Irish director helped her through it.
“I’ve jumped out of aeroplanes and I’m completely fine with fear most of the time, but my one thing is claustrophobia and it’s just completely debilitating.” she told The BBC,
“We tried to keep it as succinct as possible and the least amount of takes as we could possibly do, but sometimes you don’t have that option.”
“But Neil was really wonderful with me, and really took his time with me to make sure that I felt as comfortable as possible while having a panic attack.”
Neil appeared on The Late Late Show recently, to speak about being one of the first homegrown film-makers to conquer Hollywood, winning an Oscar for The Crying Game, and discuss his new film Greta and look back on his extraordinary career.
