Virgin Media has revealed that Celebrity Gogglebox Ireland is returning this Wednesday for a special episode.
The 11th season of Gogglebox Ireland kicks off this month.
And to celebrate the season starts with a bumper celebrity special at 9pm on Virgin Media Play and Virgin Media One and promises lots of surprises, plenty of belly-laughs and unfiltered reactions as some of Ireland’s most loved personalities come together to take to the Gogglebox couch.

Marty Whelan and Mary Kennedy two of Ireland’s most iconic TV presenters reunite, bringing their trademark wit and decades of broadcasting brilliance.
PJ Kirby and Kevin Twomey from hit podcast, I’m Grand Mam, are joined by PJ’s legendary Mammy, Nuala, so expect some true Corkonian banter and some of the most hilarious mother-son dynamics ever seen on Gogglebox.
Comedy powerhouse Jason Byrne and football star Jason McAteer joins forces on the Gogglebox couch – double the Jasons means double the craic.
Ireland AM’s Muireann O’Connell and Elaine Crowley are joined by new kid on the block, Eric Roberts as they get up to some after AM mischief.
Irish rugby legends, Tommy Bowe and Andrew Trimble, once former teammates, now swap the pitch for the sofa as they tackle Ireland’s best telly moments.
The Young Hot Guys, Shane Daniel Byrne, Tony Cantwell, and Killian Sunderman – three of Ireland’s most irreverent comics and podcasters take to the couch to deliver some of the most outrageous takes and laugh-out-loud commentary.
The Group Chat AKA Gavan Reilly, Zara King and Richard Chambers, put the headlines aside to share their off-duty TV opinions.
Also joining the line up are music maestros, Louis Walsh and Dave Fanning, comedy legend Rosie O’Donnell with her beloved assistant, Frankie, TikTok sensation Garron Noone and Irish comedian, Pat Shortt, The Den’s nostalgic icons Ray D’Arcy, Dustin the Turkey and Zig and Zag (talk about a 90’s throwback!), Chasers Darragh Ennis, Shaun Wallace and Jenny Ryan.
And, for the very first time ever, Gogglebox narrator, Deirdre O’Kane, will step out from behind the mic and onto the couch joining comedian Emma Doran, with a surprise guest celebrity replacing her as voice over for the episode.
