It’s safe to say that she is truly a prolific writer.
Starting strong with PS I Love You, she has been writing best-seller after best-seller for over two decades.
But now the Irish author is trying her hand at something different as she has announced her new book.

Cecelia has revealed that she has written her first children’s book and it’s set to be absolutely brilliant!
Sharing the news on social media, she wrote: “I’ve written a children’s series for ages 6+ called DETECTIVE THINGY MAJIGGY about a little girl named Mia Berry who has the ability to speak with inanimate objects. She uses this skill to help solve mysteries. In each story she partners up with a thingy Majiggy to solve a mystery but the object also teaches her something important about herself.
“Funny and emotional, I want readers to learn a little about their big feelings.
“I’m excited for the first release in July. I can’t wait to meet my new readers and hope they welcome Detective Thingy Majiggy into their hearts.”

The synopsis for the book reads: “Mia is ten years old and has just moved to her new foster home with Detective Lucy. And Mia has a secret – she can speak to inanimate objects. That’s not the weird part, though – the amazing thing is that the objects speak back! Hats, toasters, pens – Mia can understand them all.
“And with the help of these everyday objects, Mia can SOLVE MYSTERIES! Like for instance – how exactly did a fire start in her new classroom…?”
Well, we’re sure this is going to be a huge hit with little ones!
