We were all delighted to see another Irish face on Love Island when it was announced that Dublin native Catherine Agbaje would be heading into the villa.
And she did us proud.
Up until Casa Amor that is.
She and Shelbourne FC footballer Scott van-der-Sluis had found what viewers thought was love and were eager to get them to the final.
However, Catherine decided to, as the Love Islanders say, move mad once she got to Casa Amor. She recoupled with Elom Elhijah-Wilson.
After doubling down on her actions, viewers even accused her of “bullying” Scott.
And it all came to a head on Wednesday night as she was dumped from the Love Island villa.
She and Elom were voted as the least compatible couple and brutally dumped from the series.

In a shocking twist, the couple were enjoying their nightly drink when the text came through to tell them they had been dumped.
It was definitely unexpected as usually the islanders are gathered up around the fire pit before someone is dumped.
Fans were shocked by the brutal way they were dumped, but they weren’t exactly surprised that they were booted from the show.

Yes, fans called her dumping karma after her bad behaviour. But we’ll certainly miss having an Irish face in the villa.
And the islanders aren’t safe just yet as another couple are set to be dumped from the villa tonight.
