Catherine Agbaje has returned to social media after being eliminated from the Love Island villa.
The Dubliner left the reality show earlier this week as she, and partner Elom Ahlijah-Wilson, were voted the least compatible couple via public vote.
Following her exit, Catherine has stayed off social media. Until now that is, as the former-island returned to Instagram with a sweet message.
Taking to her story, the commercial real estate agent shared a selfie, as she held a bouquet of roses.
Writing: “So glad to be back home to all my family and friends! What a surreal experience which I am so grateful for.”
“Thanks to everyone who has supported me on my journey.”
Elom also returned to social media on the same day. Saying: “I wanna just thank everyone for the support, the love.”
The fitness trainer also addressed the running gag about his resemblance to Geoffrey Butler from The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air. Joking: “I don’t think I look like Geoffrey though…”
Catherine and Elom sparked a connection in Casa Amor, while Catherine was in a couple with Scott van-der-Sluis.
Upon returning from the challenge together, Catherine and Scott clashed several times, which gained a lot of the public’s attention.
However, according to Catherine, things are fine between herself and the pro-footballer now. As she said in her exit interview: “My connection with Scott was good, we bonded over living in Ireland and it felt right at the time but everything happens for a reason and we weren’t meant to be.”
“It’s all love with Scott, we left on great terms.”
