It’s official – Sarah Jessica Parker is in Ireland.
But if you thought she’d be tucking into beef and potato stew and pints of Guinness while she’s here, it looks like you’re mistaken, as the iconic Sex in the City actress has been spotted stocking up on healthy snacks.
The star, most famous for her role as Carrie Bradshaw, has returned to her holiday home near Kilcar, Co. Donegal with children James and six-year-old twins Marion and Tabitha, where she and fellow actor hubbie Matthew Broderick frequently spend their summers.
The couple’s first order of business? Making sure they have plenty of guilt-free treats by paying a visit to Simon’s health food store in Donegal town.
“They are regular visitors to the shop when they holiday in Donegal,” shop owner Finnbar Rock said.
“When they dropped in last week Sarah said she ‘just loves your little store’.”
“They are a very private family but they are also a very nice family. They stocked up on a number of items, mainly artisan food,” he told The Star.
SJP recently spoke out about her love for Ireland, saying that it “feels like home”.
“We would be delighted to decamp to Ireland. Move the children, put them in school there, have tea every day, a proper fry. It’s just an exquisite, beautiful, relaxing, wonderful place for ourselves and for our children,” she commented.
