Carl Mullan is delighted that he made it to the Dancing with the Stars final.
He never imagined that he would make it the whole 11 weeks. And that means that he has certainly missed out on things.
It’s no secret that Carl has a busy schedule.
So when VIP Magazine caught up with him in between rehearsals for the final we asked what he was most excited about when he finally had some downtime.
“I am looking forward to having a little bit more time with my little lad Daibhí,“ he gushes with a wide smile.
“He’s got to an age now where literally every week he’s changing. He’s just over a year and a half now. But every week, he is coming out with new words or he’s trying to string a sentence together.“
He quickly adds that he has of course spent time with his son but he is eager to make him the priority for the next few weeks.
“It’s not as if I haven’t seen him. But it’s at a stage where I want to spend as much time with him as possible. I’m really looking forward to that.“
Over the course of the show Carl has sang his wife, Ais’ praises. She has constantly been in his corner, supporting him.
So it’s no surprise that he will be spoiling her for the next few weeks.
“Myself and my wife, Ais, have to get away for a weekend as well. She’s been absolutely unbelievable throughout this.
“She’s been holding down the fort at home and with Daibhí. We’re getting work done on our house as well and she is the foreman of that whole project. We’re going away on a holiday at the end of April just to get a bit of sun and chill out.“
