Brian Ormond‘s grandmother, Josie has sadly passed away.
The TV personality has not broken his silence during this time, but his daughter Chloe shared the news on social media.
She shared a picture of herself with her great-grandmother in bed with both women smiling at the camera.
“Nana Josie,” she began, “I’ll never forget you. The Queen of our family we all adored you. Rest peacefully, love you always.”
Brian and his four children were separated from Josie during the pandemic, they kept in touch over Facetime. She often made appearances on his social media accounts.
Her death notice on RIP.ie reads: “Passed peacefully in her 95th year after a long illness, bravely borne, in the loving care of her family and the staff of St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown.
“Beloved wife of the late Michael, loving mother of Elizabeth, Alice, Paddy, Thomas, Michael, James, Gerard and Anne-Marie and beloved sister of Ena and the late Alice, Tommy, Bernie, Phyllis and Margaret.
