Brian Dowling has shared an emotional post about his eldest daughter, Blake.

Earlier this year, Brian and his husband Arthur Gouroulian announced that they were sending Blake to preschool for a few weeks before she dives in next year.

And she has reached a massive milestone as she headed to her last day before the summer holidays.

Brian was understandably emotional as he shared a few pictures of them on their last walk to school of the schoolyear.

“And Just Like That, it’s the last school walk for Blake & me until September,” he shared.

“Blake only started preschool 5 weeks ago as a little tester to see how things would go for her when she starts full time in September, well, this little SUPERSTAR hasn’t shed one tear, kicked up a fuss or ever refused to go in any morning. We started off slow & within 2 weeks she was ROCKING it from 08:30am – 12pm.

“I was ABSOLUTELY DISTRAUGHT when she started, & many many tears were shed, but she has honestly shown me the way with all of this. Not even 3 years old yet & her determination & resilience are second to none. I’ve ADORED our walks to & from school over the past 2 weeks.

“I would carry her on my shoulders & we would play a game spotting all the red cars. Her little hand rubbing the side of my face. For now, we enjoy the Summer 2025 has to offer & September we GOT YOU.”

We can’t cope!

Arthur previously spoke to VIP Magazine about Blake’s preschool journey, explaining: “She was meant to be starting in September, but she never went to creche, so we decided we’d like to try the water, because the teacher said it would be great for her

“Her friends who are with her, they’re not going to be her friends in September. So, she’s got to find a new squad, she’ll be like ‘I’m the queen of the castle’ come to me. But she did so well.

“The first day she was unsure, she was literally in my arms shaking. I was like, ‘Do I have a heart or not?’ because it’s obviously emotional, but I was trying to keep it together, you know, and it was amazing. She did three days and loved it, she absolutely loved it, so fingers crossed it carries on like that.”
