It’s official, Aoife Dowling, sister of Brian Dowling, will once again be her brother’s surrogate for his second child.
Yes, Brian and his husband Arthur Gourounlian, already share a little girl, Blake together, thanks to Aoife who served as their surrogate back in September 2022.
Now it has been confirmed, that the two will become parents for the second time this summer.
With Aoife already 23 weeks pregnant, it looks like they won’t have long to wait either!
Speaking to the RTÉ Guide, Brian praised his sister for everything she’s done for him.
“‘We’re in such a lucky position where Aoife is willing to do this.
“She’s a young healthy woman, she’s my sister, she lives in the country, and we were able to get a donor again.
“We’re just very, very lucky. It’s priceless to us, we’re really pinching ourselves,” he added.

Brian also shared that so far, everything has thankfully been going smoothly and that he is so excited to be giving Blake a little brother or sister.
“I’ve got a sister who is like my best friend and Brian has six sisters, so we know the importance of having siblings,” he shared.
Although the couple has revealed to knowing the sex of their baby, that is information they’re not willing to divulge to the public just quite yet.
We’ll just have to wait and see so!
