Former Big Brother winner Brian Dowling has opened up about wanting to start a family with his husband of one year, Arthur Gourounlian.
The tv presenter has said that himself and Arthur would love to have children, and he has even changed his name so that their children would have the same surname.
Speaking to the Irish Mirror he said, “I changed my name. I’m now Brian Dowling Gourounlian but for work I’m Brian Dowling.
“I just thought it would be nice because if we go down the children route we’d like our children to have the same surname.
“All of our friends are having children. We’re on the baby train at the moment and we’re definitely thinking about it.”
Brian is godfather to best pal Pippa O’Connor’s 3-month-old son Louis, who was christened last weekend, and although the couple have baby fever now, Brian did admit that as much as he loves children, he loves his sleep too!
“I think I’d really like to (be a dad) but I also like the idea of giving the kid back.
“I’m surrounded by children. All my friends have children and I have five nieces and two nephews, so maybe that’s enough. Plus I have a great life. The lack of sleep would kill me too,” he said.
Well if the pair decide to become parents, we think they’d do a great job!
