Arthur Gourounlian says he and his husband Brian Dowling are ‘”working” on expanding their family so their daughter Blake has a sibling to play with.
The Dancing with the Stars judge had previously announced last November that he had hopes of becoming a dad for a second time.
And now it looks like they are officially putting plans in the works to welcome another child and are already “in talks” with a surrogacy mother.
“I’m not getting any younger!”
“We want her to have someone to play with,” he added.
Brian and Arthur already share one child, Blake, who was born with the help of Brian’s sister, Aoife Dowling, who acted as a surrogate mother.
Arthur previously described his sister-in-law as “the best thing ever” and said that the couple will “never be able to repay her” for helping them bring Blake, now 16-months-old, into the world.
On whether Aoife would be willing to embark on a surrogacy journey for the celebrity couple for a second time, Mr Gourounlian said: “There are talks”.
He recalled speaking with her near the end of their documentary when he asked her if she would be willing to help them again, to which she said: “Yes”.
“I definitely want it to happen, so fingers crossed.
“If it happens, great, and if it doesn’t, that is life,” he added.
