Bonnie Ryan has opened up about how she paid tribute to her late father, Gerry Ryan, on her wedding day.
The makeup artist married the love of her life, John, in 2022.
The couple jetted to Italy with their nearest and dearest for a picture-perfect wedding.
Of course, the family is so tight knit and everyone had a role to play on the big day. Including their late father.
Speaking to The Irish Examiner, she shared: “And we had a little Jameson stand because that was the whiskey that my dad loved to drink.
“And I think that kind of sent everybody into orbit! So that was a bit dangerous. We had the best night ever. And then we looked at the time and it was five o’clock in the morning!”
The broadcaster sadly passed away in 2010 after suffering a sudden heart attack.
Bonnie and John relocated to the States in 2023. They originally set up their base in California with Bonnie keeping her followers updated on their adventures.
In July of 2024 the couple decided to move to the east coast and settle in New York.
However, Bonnie is constantly flitting back between the States and Ireland to spend time with her family.
Truly the best of both worlds!
