Bláthnaid Treacy is set to replace Sinead Kennedy on RTÉ’s Today show. Sinead, who is currently co-presenter, is heading off on maternity leave next month so Bláthnaid will be filling in until her return later in the year.
The 33-year-old presenter is already a regular on the show so is the ideal choice as viewers are already familiar with her.
At Christmas, Sinead said to Today Show co-host Daithi O’Se,“[I’m due in] March, so you will have to put up with me for another two months and then I am out the door.”
This means it’s only a matter of weeks until her first child will make his or her arrival into the world.
The RTE star is expecting her first baby with husband Conor Kirwan, and can’t wait to hold the little bundle of joy in her arms.
We look forward to seeing Bláthnaid on the show!
