Big Brother stars Hughie Maughan and Ryan Ruckledge have confirmed their break up.
The couple met on the reality tv show last summer and got engaged in September, at the time saying, “We are so happy and everything feels right. Huge high five to the doubters.”
The pair, who took to social media to break the news, have revealed that they chose to call it all off as they’ve simply grown apart.
“Me and Ryan have decided to end our relationship,” Hughie tweeted.
“None of this is for publicity. None of this is fake. It was a real relationship.
“Please can people not think it’s fake or we are having a joke with people. Also, no one cheated or done anything major, just different people.
“I will always love and respect him, but we have grown apart. We met on a tv show so people will have an opinion, but already I see pigs saying Ryan cheated etc. Ryan is amazing, but we aren’t right.”
Just last week, the pair revealed that they were considering a controversial star to be the surrogate mother of their child.
