50 Ways To Kill Your Mammy star Baz Ashmawy has admitted that he finally got down on one knee, and proposed to his long-term girlfriend, Tanja Evans.
Speaking to The Herald, Baz said, “We’re engaged. I asked her earlier this year. Nowhere special, just in Dublin.”
The presenter is very clearly smitten with Tanja, as he explained that she is “very different” to any other woman he has ever met.
Baz went on to say, “She was very strong. She didn’t care about television. She’s a brilliant girl, really cool and we just get on great.”
The pair have been together since 2006, and have six children between them.
Baz and Tanja are parents to Hannah (5) and Mahy (3), and the presenter is stepfather to Tanja’s four other children, Charlotte (18), Harry (17), Jake (13) and Amelia (11) from a previous relationship.
