We are loving Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter’s supportive yet private romance.

The couple are always bigging each other up on social media as well as supporting each other at concerts and red carpets.

But they have decided not to speak publicly about one another.

They have been very good at dodging questions about each other in interviews.

However, Barry was caught out when he appeared on The Louis Theroux Podcast, where the host point blank asked him if they were in a relationship.

“All I’m going to say is, yeah, I’m incredibly blessed,” he answered with the biggest smile on his face.

He went on to say: “Such a strong, independent lady who’s massively talented and, yeah, very special,” before joking: “Louis, you got me.”

He is quick to change the topic to his work with Sabrina as he appeared in her music video, Please, Please, Please.

“Please Please Please is a brilliant video,” Louis responded.

The couple first sparked romance rumours in late 2023 and have been going strong for the last year. You can find the full timeline of their relationship here.

Elsewhere in the interview, Barry Keoghan hit back against online trolls who are using his son as “ammunition” against him online.

The actor shares his son, Brando with his former partner, Alyson Kierans. The pair met in 2021, while Alyson gave birth to Brando a year later.

“If I didn’t have tough skin or the strength to have, I wouldn’t be sitting here,” he admitted.

“Of course, [my childhood is] going to affect me being a father when I had no blueprint to take from.”

Continuing on he said: “People just read that [as] laziness and go, ‘Oh, that’s no excuse to be an absent father.’ I’m not an absent father.

“But it’s just, again, people love to use my son as ammunition or whatever.

“And it kind of leads me to stop, the more attention I’ve got lately and the more in the public I’ve become, the less I’ve posted about my child, because I don’t think it’s fair to put my child online.”
