While he missed out on the actual award, that went to Cillian Murphy, we think that he may have won the red carpet.

He stepped out in a statement red suit that was custom-made by Louis Vuitton. He really is a star!
The suit featured mismatched check prints which should clash but actually bring everything together perfectly. And perhaps the tartan is a nod to the Joker, the character he briefly played in the new Batman movie. Could this mean we’ll see more of his quirky take on the role in the future?

He accessorised with a brooch from Tiffany that was a nod to his antlers in the film that got him nominated. To complete the look, he added a chunky necklace, a singular earring and chains and pearls on his trousers. Seriously, he made a statement!
The Saltburn actor knew that his shoes couldn’t let him down so he brought the outfit together with a pair of Louis Vuitton boots.
While he missed out on the Best Actor award to his friend Cillian Murphy he was cheering the Corkman on as he headed to the stage.
