Well, you can put it to the test as casting for the new season of the RTÉ series is now open!
The Ireland’s Fittest Family team is combing the country in search of families who can take on mud, sweat, and tears.
Whether you’re elite athletes, weekend warriors, or just a tight-knit team with something to prove, this could be your year to conquer the course and scale the ramp to glory.
Last year’s champions, the Cummins family from Kilkenny, know exactly what that challenge feels like.
They entered the competition simply hoping to give it their best shot and ended up winning it all.
Reflecting on their victory, Paul, the father of the family said: “What an unbelievable experience taking part in Ireland’s Fittest Family has been. As individuals, we have had success, representing our country in multiple sports, but to compete with zero expectations except to give it a good go.
“It took a lot of hard work, a lot of teamwork, Davy’s unique motivation and a little luck for us to be crowned Ireland’s Fittest Family (or as I like to call it Ireland’s Fittest ‘Kids and their dad’). Thank you all for this special gift! We still find it hard to believe that that’s exactly what happened.”
